Lead game designer


PowerPlay Studio is looking for a senior or lead game designer to bolster the ranks of our design team.

Our design team consists of 7 members, split into various projects. We are looking for someone with experience, ideally 5 or more years.

Your job will be:

designing new gameplay mechanics
writing specifications for gameplay mechanics, JIRA ticketing
presentation and overseeing of implementation of designed mechanics
in cooperation with our analytic dept. - analyzing and tweaking gameplay mechanics
GD talks with other members of the design team
watching trends and educating yourself in the field of GD

Payment offer will be related to experience, range 3000 – 5000 €

What do we need?

Your know – how and experience in the field of Game Design
– experience with mobile games isn’t strictly necessary
your portfolio and references
your ability to communicate and present
in case of the lead game designer position – leadership (ability to lead a team)

Processing of personal data

In accordance with Act no. 18/2018 coll. of Slovakia on Protection of Personal Data and Regulation (EU) 2016/679 of the European Parliament and of the Council of 27 April 2016 on the protection of natural persons with regard to the processing of personal data and on the free movement of such data, and repealing Directive 95/46/EC (General Data Protection Regulation), the operator POWERPLAY MANAGER, s.r.o. (contact email: administers, processes and stores personal data of job applicants listed in the CV, motivation letter and other attachments related to the search for a job within the internet computer network, for the purposes of selecting a suitable employee and on the legal basis of carrying out measures before entering into a contract.
The job applicant may voluntarily give consent to processing of personal data for the purposes of being entered into the records of job applicants. This consent may be rescinded at any time by sending an email to, otherwise the consent will expire after 5 years within the date of its issue, upon which the data shall be deleted. The operator may utilize the services of its service provider ( for the purposes of keeping records of the job applicants. In no case shall there be a cross-border transmission of personal data into third countries during the processing.
The job applicant who has give their personal data to the operator has the right to be informed about the extent of personal data that are processed, to access their personal data, to correct them, to limit their processing or to the liquidation of their personal data processed by the operator and to object against the processing of their personal data and their transmission. If the execution of these rights of the job applicant is not accepted by the operator, the job applicant has the right to file a complaint at the corresponding Office for Personal Data Protection.
